AOFM's part time makeup courses prepare students for working as a top professional freelance makeup artist or hair stylists. Don't bother with 3-4 hour night classes when you can lean in the same way as a full time student but over the weekends. Our makeup courses, hair styling courses and bridal makeup courses are all on offer over a part time period in our London makeup school. Students who apply for our hair and makeup course will be able to take advantage of our 700+ yearly student work placements and 100s of free aftercare makeup classes.

We offer full-time, part-time or Saturday makeup courses to suit your needs. Foundation courses, Creative courses, and Photographic Media Makeup Courses. Our intensive makeup courses and training at the London School of Makeup are taught by industry leading professional make up artists.

Our affordable 2 day Foundation Course includes intensive hands on make-up training, providing basic training in professional makeup skills and artistry. This course also provides training in professional makeup skills covering day, evening and special occasion level leading to industry recognized qualifications.

The course is suitable for:

Beginners who wish to learn all the basic skills in professional make-up artistry or those who wish to refresh or update their present skills for retail. It covers day, evening and special occasion looks plus all the technics required to achieve this end. You will be working in a professional makeup studio and taught by a working make-up artist. The course is balanced between demonstrations and hands on practical workshop. No previous experience is necessary for this course.

Following on from the two days intensive training students will complete an at home study program using the course notes provided and complete a training portfolio of evidence including a practical and written assignment plus complete a number of make-ups on family and friends.

You will be asked to come back for one day after you have completed your portfolio work to take a practical exam and multiple choice theory paper.

At the completion of the programmer you will receive an industry recognized qualification through IMA (International Make-up Association).

• IMA Foundation course notes provided

• The minimum age for entry to this course is 18 years

• Brushed NOT included. You will require Professional make-up brushes. You can add our Brush set and cleaner.

Please note: you will be required to bring a digital camera to keep a record of your work.
